Elk vs. Photographer | Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Last week a video of a moose approaching a photographer in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, on the border of the states of Tennessee and North Carolina, became viral on the Internet.
The moment was filmed by cinematographer Vince M. Camiolo October 20, and is starring elk and photographer James York.
Despite the magical moment recorded by the camera, National Parks authorities have informed the U.S. that the popular moose was euthanized a few days ago.
For this reason, Camiolo updated the video description on YouTube:
"I find porfundamente saddened by the fate of the moose. A black cloud has overshadowed how great had been the 'viral video'."
